This selection of moving-image works are the output of my self-directed artistic practice over the past 18 months. The pieces take props and objects, sometimes found on the internet, others created from scratch, and assemble them in ways which are plausible, but seemingly unlikely. The works take on a strange element of suspense, where the viewer is watching endlessly in an odd digitally rendered space which never resolves itself.
The pieces are all created in 3D modelling applications, mainly Autodesk Maya, which then outputs individual frames as images. Final Cut is then used to compile each frame into video format, resulting in the final animation.
